New roof for the Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium in Cork City/Ireland, the largest and most important event venue in the province of Munster.

The “Páirc Uí Chaoimh” stadium is the venue for the traditional final matches of the “provincial Hurling” and “Gaelic Football” championships as well as for concerts of the artists Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, U2, The Stone Roses and Oasis.

It is at home in the city of Cork and is the most important stadium in the province of Munster. Zeman will fabricate the supporting steel structure of both side stands.

The smaller roof – the north stand – projects about 21m and covers one tier using tapered cellular beams. The roof construction of the south stand consists of suspended truss girders with an overhang of about 40m.

Zeman & Co will do everything in its power to complete this project, with a total weight of 900 tons of steel, on time and in the accustomed quality, in order to make the best possible impression on the Irish and British market.
